Rate: 20k-28k Dependent On Experience Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Rockshore is a small but rapidly expanding company looking to grow its Sheffield based development team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the CTO to develop Rockshores core products and customer solutions for the firms managed services business. You will have worked with JEE (or comparable) technology and will have developed a number of applications that were deployed in live enterprise environments. Ideally you will have deployed secure and resilient Internet based applications in high availability environments. You will be a highly motivated individual working as a member of a team, dealing with the design and delivery of discreet system components. You will have a graduate Degree and have at least 18 months experience working in a similar role. Be familiar with Java (preferred) or C#, Enterprise: understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns for enterprise applications. It would be advantageous to have knowledge of J2ME, Symbian, JEE, ESB, Messaging, Web Services, Struts, Hibernate, Jasper, Agile Development UML, JBoss AS, MYSQL among others.
