About the role Using your experience of enterprise design techniques and software engineering techniques, you'll be delivering large and complex multi-platform commercial systems. You'll set up projects from the outset, defining the approach and seeing them through to final delivery. With a full understanding of systems and environments, you'll need to be hands on at solving coding issues. You'll be taking our software development competence to a higher level perhaps influencing best practice or defining configuration management standards. Aside from inspiring teams to design and build bespoke 1m+ projects, you'll be playing a key role in influencing our business strategy. Part of that strategy will be to evaluate emerging technologies and incorporate them into our future market offering. About you Even with your extensive J2EE knowledge and enterprise application development experience, you're not ready to give up on coding or troubleshooting yet. That's because technology is your passion, not just your job. You're as comfortable working on your own initiative as you are in a team, keen to identify emerging technologies, to keep developing your skills set and ideally happy to travel overseas. You'll also bring strong leadership skills and commercial and strategic vision to drive our company forwards.
