Web/GRAPHIC DESIGNER required WWW.microdirect.co.uk is the Web based company, and is looking for a talented and creative Web Designer/Graphic Designer.The ideal candidate will be an energetic individual with a proven track record and relevant graphic design related qualifications as well as a passion for design and standards. The ability to take the initiative on your own as well as working within our existing team will be essential. The ideal Candidates should possess a relevant degree and/or at least three years experience of managing design projects with exposure to brand advertising. Essential Skills: CSS/HTML JavaScript/VBScript ASP.net/MS SQL Photoshop Understanding of Web standards Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver & Flash media applications Some typical examples of the requirements in the role include: Designing email newsletter promoting our most popular products. Designing and creating Website pages to promote our current sales or promotions. Designing and creating banners and adverts for our Websites and our affiliates. Reviewing the look and feel of our sites and implementing new and improved designs. Other marketing material (flyers, posters) The company offers a very competitive salary package circa £20,000 - £27,000 depending on experience.
