Tampa, Florida - (The Hosting News) - April 1, 2008 - Dedicated hosting provider, Hivelocity.net, is offering dedicated KVM-over-IP units to all of its dedicated server accounts, whereby any server can be outfitted with a Lantronix SecureLinx Spider KVM.

Pricing for the new service is $29 per month. Hivelocity is currently promoting this new feature by allowing a dedicated KMV to be installed with $0 setup fee until April 15th. Once the promotion ends a standard $75 setup fee will apply.

KVM-over-IP (keyboard, video, mouse) enables a customer to have 24/7 virtual hands-on console access to their server. KVM is great for anyone that wishes to maintain control of nearly every aspect of their server without having to involve anyone but themselves.
